If you want to separate the salt from the water you have to use distillation. Water has a lower boiling point than salt so heating the solution and then waiting for evaporation will separate the salt

Answer:

Evaporation

Explanation:

Students are to mix the solvent to dilute completely,and get and evaporation dish,candle(heat),tripod stand...pour the solution in the evaporation dish and place it on tripod stand above the candle wait for some time the water will change into gas and to get the water they have to cover the evaporating and direct it to a different container to get the water and salt

If the initial volume is 55ml and the final volume after some rocks of sandstone are added is 65ml what is the volume of the chi
AfilCa [17]

Answer:

Volume = 10ml

Density = 1/5 g/ml or 0.20g/ml

Explanation:

The rocks are 10ml since the initial volume went up by 10.

Since density = mass/volume, you divide 2 by 10.

D = 2/10

D = 1/5 g/ml or 0.20g/ml

(Unit is g/ml aka grams/millileter)

Need help on this ASAP !!!!
JulijaS [17]

Answer:

C₃H₈ + 5O₂ → 3CO₂ + 4H₂O.

Explanation:

To balance the equation, you should apply the law of conservation of mass for the equations.

The law of conservation of mass states that the no. of each atom is equal in both sides (reactants and products).

Hydrocarbon is burned in oxygen to produce CO₂ and H₂O.

So, the given equation is balanced as:

C₃H₈ + 5O₂ → 3CO₂ + 4H₂O.

that 1.0 mole of C₃H₈ is burned in 5.0 moles of O₂ to produce 3.0 moles of CO₂ and 4.0 moles of H₂O.

The no. of all atoms is the same in both of reactants and products side.

C (3), O (10), and H (8).
