Answer:

11. -1 ≤ x

or

x ≥ -1, D

Because it is starting at -1, and the arrow is pointing up showing that x is greater than. BUT the circle is not hallow and is filled meaning that is is greater than, OR EQUAL TOO.

12. X < -2, A

Because it is starting at -2 and is going down showing that -2 is greater, and since the circle is hallow it just means X is less than NOT OR EQUAL TOO.

Question 1 (1 point)
melisa1 [442]

Answer: Sometimes

Step-by-step explanation:

A system of equations can intersect at no points; this is when the lines are parallel, which means they have the same slope and different y-intercept.

A system of equations can intersect at one point; this is when the lines have different slopes.

A system of equations can intersect in infinitely many points; this is when the graphs overlay one another, which means they are graphs of the same line.  The two equations would equal the same thing.

On the coordinate plane shown, each grid unit represents 10 feet. Polygon QRST has vertices Q(10, 30), R(−20, 30), S(−20, −10),

P  140 units

A  1200 units^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of the rectangle is 20 to -20 = 20 - -20 = 40 units

The width of the rectangle is 20 to -10 = 20 - -10 = 30 units

The perimeter is given by

P = 2 ( l+w) = 2 (40+30) = 2 (70) = 140 units

The area is given by

A = lw = 40*30 = 1200 units^2
