Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

2 1/5 is equivalent to 0.022.  Yes, 0.0215 is less than 0.022.

This is clearer if you write the two values in a column:

0.0220  (larger than 0.0215)

0.0215   (smaller than 0.0220)

Explain why you can use a test point to determine which region or regions of the graph of an inequality should be shaded.
LenKa [72]
A curve divides a plane into two areas, one satisfying the inequality (shaded) and one that does not (unshaded). So we can pick a point on either side (not on the curve itself) and substitute its x- and y-coordinates into the inequality. If the substituted values make the inequality true, then that point is in the shaded area. Otherwise, that point is in the unshaded area.

Mini muffins cost $3:00 per dozen Andre says I have $2:00 so I can afford 8 muffins Elena says I want to get 16 muffins so I’ll
jasenka [17]

Answer:

I agree with both.

Step-by-step explanation:

If it's $3 per dozen that would be $0.25 per muffin because

3 ÷ 12 = 0.25

And if Andre has $2 than he can only afford 8 muffins because

0.25 x 8 = 2

And if Elena wants 16 muffins

16 x 0.25 = 4

So she will have to pay $4.

Hope this makes sense and helps!
