Geology is an earth science that deals with the physical structure and substance of the earth and the processes which they undergo. People who study geology are called geologists and their work has to do with rocks, oceans, atmosphere, earthquake, oil drilling, location of mineral deposits, etc. Life science on the other hand has to do with subjects such as biochemistry and microbiology while physical science has to do with subjects such as chemistry and mathematics.
