Answer:

1. C

2. B

3. A, B, C

4. C

5. B

6. C

Step-by-step explanation:

1. You can remember the name by just looking at their positions- they alternate and they're on the exterior

2. They are supplementary meaning they add to 180°, set the angle measures up to 180 and solve for x!

76 + 2x = 180

2x = 104

x = 52

3. Equilateral trinagles have these qualities

4. Those hashes on the sides of the triangles signify those sides are the same length- that means the angles opposite of those sides share the same angle measure. If you know two angles are 35, and the last angle is 2x, you can set up an equation:

35 + 35+ 2x = 180

70 + 2x = 180

2x = 110

x = 55

5. That square means a right angle which equals  90°, like question 4, you set up an equation!

90 + 5x + 5x = 180

90 + 10x = 180

10x = 90

x = 9

6. Set up a proportion.

12 : 30 // 12(x) = 30, x = 2.5

8 : y // 8(2.5) = y, y = 20

What value of b will cause the system to have an infinite
kvasek [131]

Hi there!

The way that an infinite number of solutions is achieved is when the two equations, when solved together, get an answer which is just a number equal to the same number. To do this, first substitute 6x-b in for y in the second equation.

-3x+\frac{1}{2}(6x-b)=-3

-3x+3x-\frac{1}{2}b=-3

-\frac{1}{2}b=-3

Now, we see that b needs to be equal to -3 when multiplied by -1/2. When both sides are divided by -1/2, b becomes equal to 6. Thus, b must be 6.

Check work:

6x-6=y

-3x+\frac{1}{2}(6x-6)=-3

-3x+3x-3=-3

-3=-3

Thus, as they are equal to each other, the answer is correct. b = 6.

Hope this helps!

At an output level of 50 units per day, a firm has average total costs of $60 and average variable costs of $35. Its total fixed
e-lub [12.9K]

Answer:

$ 1250

Step-by-step explanation:

output = 50 units per day

average total cost = $ 60

total cost = output × average total cost =50 × 60 = $ 3000

total variable cost = output × average variable cost = 35 × 50 = $ 1750

total cost = total fixed cost + total variable cost

total fixed cost = total cost - total variable cost = $ 3000 - $ 1750 = $ 1250
