Acceleration is how much the velocity changes within a period of time so,

Acceleration= is the change in velocity divided by change in time

your units will be m/s squared

Please can some one explaine fore me What is work done
olga nikolaevna [1]
In Physics, 'work' has a very clear definition:

It's (strength of a force) times (distance through which the force acts).

'Work' has the units of Energy.

If you push against a shopping cart with 30 newtons of force, and
you keep pushing while the cart moves 4 meters, then you have
done (30 x 4) = 120 newton-meters of work = 120 "Joules".

A person looking out the window of a stationary train notices that raindrops are falling vertically down at a speed of 3.84 m/s
JulijaS [17]

Answer:

the train is moving at the speed of v = 1.79 m/s

Explanation:

given,

rain drop is falling vertically down with the speed of  = 3.84 m/s

angle of the rain drop = 25°

tan θ = \dfrac{v}{u}

tan 25° = \dfrac{v}{3.84}

v =3.84 × tan 25°

v = 1.79 m/s

hence, the train is moving at the speed of v = 1.79 m/s

What is the average de Broglie wavelength of oxygen molecules in air at a temperature of 27°C? Use the results of the kinetic th
asambeis [7]

Answer:

\lambda = 2.57 \times 10^{-11} m

Explanation:

Average velocity of oxygen molecule at given temperature is

v_{rms} = \sqrt{\frac{3RT}{M}}

now we have

M = 32 g/mol = 0.032 kg/mol

T = 27 degree C = 300 K

now we have

v_{rms} = \sqrt{\frac{3(8.31)(300)}{0.032}

v_{rms} = 483.4 m/s

now for de Broglie wavelength we know that

\lambda = \frac{h}{mv}

\lambda = \frac{6.6 \times 10^{-34}}{(5.31\times 10^{-26})(483.4)}

\lambda = 2.57 \times 10^{-11} m

At a depth of 10.9 km, the Challenger Deep in the Marianas Trench of the Pacific Ocean is the deepest site in any ocean. Yet, in
bearhunter [10]

Answer:

P = 1.09 \times 10^8 Pa

Explanation:

As we know that the pressure inside the liquid level is given as

P = \rho g h + P_o

here we have

\rho = 1024 kg/m^3

h = 10.9 km

also we know that

P_o = 1.01 \times 10^5 Pa

now we have

P = (1.01 \times 10^5) + (1024)(9.81)(10.9 \times 10^3)

P = 1.09 \times 10^8 Pa
