Answer:

B = 0.0016 T

Explanation:

Given:-

- The diameter of the wire, dw = 5.0 mm

- The number of turns of coil, N = 200

- The current in the wire, I = 0.10 A

- The permeability of free space, uo = 1.257 x 10^-6 H/m

Find:-

what is the magnitude of the magnetic field on the axis of the solenoid near its center

Solution:-

- The magnetic field (B) is generated at the center of coil and proportional to the number of turns (N) and amount of current that flows through the wire (I) can be determined by Biot-Sovart Law:

                               B = uo * (N/L) * I

- Where, L: The length of the coil

- The circumference of a cylindrical core is length of coil for one turn:

                               L = pi*dw

- Substitute into the Biot-Sovart expression:

                              B = uo*N*I / (pi*dw)

                              B = (4π^-7) * (0.10) * (200) / (pi*0.005)

                              B = 0.0016 T

Answer:

0.0016 T

Explanation:

Parameters given:

Diameter of wire = 5 mm = 0.005 m

Radius of wire, R = 0.0025 m

Number of turns, N = 200

Current through the wire, I = 0.10A

The magnitude of the magnetic field is given as:

B = (u₀NI) / (2πR)

Where u = magnetic permeability of free space.

B = (1.257 * 10⁻⁶ * 200 * 0.1) / (2 * π * 0.0025)

B = 0.0016 T

The magnitude of the Magnetic field is 0.0016 T.

Murljashka [212]
Magma can partially crystallize at depth and then rise to shallow depths where the remaining magma solidifies. the early-formed crystals are phenocrysts and the texture is porphyritic. in Lava or near the earth surface,very large crystals can grow, forming intrusive rocks or volcanic rocks . magma that cools in shallow magma chambers has a relatively short time to cool and so forms fine grained rocks , but not volcanic glass. in deep magma chamber, magma cools at a slow rate, allowing the formation of extrusive or plutonic rock .

Of the three types of radiation listed below, which is the least penetrating and which is the most penetrating? -alpha -beta -ga
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

Alpha is the least penetrating radiation listed below.

Gamma is the most penetrating radiation in the given list.

These rays can be used to detect cancer, sterilizing the medical instrument, smoke detector, etc.

Radiation emitted from the radioactive elements also have very harmful. They affect the living being a lot. Waste from the nuclear reactor also contains harmful radiation which causes Land pollution if not disposed of properly.

Review. An electron moves in a circular path perpendicular to a constant magnetic field of magnitude 1.00 mT . The angular momen
Ghella [55]

The speed of an electron when it moves in a circular path perpendicular to a constant magnetic field is 8.88 x 10^7 m/s.

The angular momentum(L) of an electron moving in a circular path is given by the formula,

L = mvr ........(i)

We know that the radius of the path of an electron in a magnetic field is

r = mv/qB

Putting this value in equation (i),

L = mv x mv/qB

or L = (mv)^2/qB

Putting the given values in the above equation,

4 x 10^-25 = (9.1x10^-31)^2 x v^2/ 1.6 x 10^-19 x 1 x 10^-3

v comes out to be 8.88 x 10^7 m/s.

Hence, the speed of an electron when it moves in a circular path perpendicular to a constant magnetic field is 8.88 x 10^7 m/s.
