Scrooge must pay to make his system more effective and reliable for certain of the features listed. Let each of the features be taken into account.

A safety facility:

  • This is a crucial factor.
  • I strongly suggest that Mr. Scrooge pay and get a safe package.
  • This keeps the data private and also prevents data from being lost or curred.

Concurrency control:

  • For this application, I need not recommend that the contest control function be added.
  • Not many processes happen at the same time.
  • This function is required if several operations are in the queue.

Crash recovery:

  • You better have a recovery function for a crash.
  • Crash can occur on many grounds, such as a network failure, device failure, power failure etc.
  • Crash system backups the document and wants to keep it all as before.

A view mechanism:

  • I believe there are plenty of free software for observing the dataset, no payment is needed.
  • Free software provides ample features.

A query language:

  • I recommend not to receive a paid query language.
  • For easy processing of databases, there are free query languages like MySQL.
