In the chemical reaction shown hydrogen and oxygen are classified as reactants.

Reactants are substances that combines with each other to give a new substance(s) called products.

Reactants are always shown at the left hand side of a chemical reaction equation while products are shown at the right hand side of a reaction equation. Both sides are separated by the arrow.

Hydrogen and oxygen appeared at the left hand side in the equation; 2H2 + O2 → H2O, hence they are reactants.

Answer:

See explanation below

Explanation:

To get a better understanding watch the picture attached.

In the case of the reaction with Bromine, the -N(CH₃)₂ is a strong ring activator, therefore, it promotes a electrophilic aromatic sustitution, so, in the mechanism of reaction, the lone pair of the Nitrogen, will move to the ring by resonance and activate the ortho and para positions. That's why the bromine wil go to the ortho and para positions, mostly the para position, because the -N(CH₃)₂ cause a steric hindrance in the ortho position.

In the case of the reaction with HNO₃/H₂SO₄, the acid transform the -N(CH₃)₂ in a protonated form, the anilinium ion, which is a deactivating of the ring, and also a strong electron withdrawing, so, the electrophile will go to the meta position instead.

Hope this helps.

What kind of electrical charges do protons,electrons, and neutrons have?
Vinil7 [7]

Protons = Positive Charge

Neutrons = Neutral Charge/No Charge

Electrons = Negative Charge

This one's simple: electrons have a negative charge, protons have a positive charge and neutrons — as the name implies — are neutral.

Protons

Elements are differentiated from each other by the number of protons within their nucleus. For example, carbon atoms have six protons in their nucleus. Atoms with seven protons are nitrogen atoms. The number of protons for each element is known as the atomic number and does not change in chemical reactions. In other words, the elements at the beginning of a reaction -- known as the reactants -- are the same elements at the end of a reaction -- known as the products.

Neutrons

Although elements have a specific number of protons, atoms of the same element may have different numbers of neutrons and are termed isotopes. For example, hydrogen has three isotopes, each with a single proton. Protium is an isotope of hydrogen with zero neutrons, deuterium has one neutron, and tritium has two neutrons. Although the number of neutrons may differ between isotopes, the isotopes all behave in a chemically similar manner.

Electrons

Electrons are not bound as tightly to the atom as protons and neutrons. This allows electrons to be lost, gained or even shared between atoms. Atoms that lose an electron become ions with a +1 charge, since there is now one more proton than electrons. Atoms that gain an electron have one more electron than protons and become a -1 ion. Chemical bonds that hold atoms together to form compounds result from these changes in the number and arrangement of electrons.

A ball is rolling across the floor. Every 3 seconds it travels 12 meters. Its speed, therefore, is 36 m/s. Is this problem solve
kirill [66]
No because you are supposed to do this

d = t)v
T for time and V for velocity or acceleration so what you do is take the two numbers

D= 3/12 it goes 12 meters every 3 seconds so you devide 12/3
12 \div 3 = 4
So for every second the ball roles 4 meters!
Hope this helps! :)
