area of triangle is = 1/2lb

= 1/2 5*4

=10 cm^2

area of rectangle is l*b = 5*3= 15 cm^2

are of the shape is 10+ 15= 25 cm^2

Area of rectangle is 6*8 = 48 m^2

Area of triangle is = 1/2 *8*2= 8 m^2

area of the shape is 48+8= 56m^2
