Answer:

I don't know 100% but im pretty sure its electrons, if im wrong im really sorry let me know in the comments ill change it

explanation

the nucleus has more weight but its more compact but the electrons are spread apart circling the nucleus and therefor take up more space

* The cost of table salt and table sugar is Rs 15 per kg.
Vilka [71]

Cost per mole

Table salt : Rs 0.878

Table sugar : Rs 23.63

Further explanation

Given

Cost table salt (NaCl) = 15/kg

Cost table sugar(sucrose-C12H22O11) = 69/kg

Required

cost per mole

Solution

mol of 1 kg Table salt(NaCl ,MW= 58.5 g/mol) :

\tt mol=\dfrac{1000~g}{58.5}=17.09~mol=Rs~15\rightarrow 1~mol=Rs~0.878

mol of 1 kg Table sugar(C12H22O11 ,MW= 342 g/mol) :

\tt mol=\dfrac{1000}{342}=2.92~mol=Rs~69\rightarrow 1~mol=Rs~23.63

a gas that exerts a pressure of _____ bar in a container with a volume of 0.5650 L will exert a pressure of 715.1 bar when trans
vampirchik [111]
Boyle's law gives the relationship between pressure and volume of gases.
it states that for a fixed amount of gas at constant temperature, pressure of gas is inversely proportional to volume.
PV = k
where P - pressure , V - volume and k - constant
P1V1 = P2V2
where parameters for the first instance are on the left side and parameters for the second instance are on the right side of the equation
substituting this equation
P x 0.5650 L = 715.1 bar x 1.204 L
P = 1 524 bar

The rate constant for a first order reaction
Lena [83]

Answer:

E_a = 103.626 × 10³ KJ/mol

Explanation:

Formula to solve this is given by;

Log(k2/k1) = (E_a/2.303R)((1/T1) - (1/T2))

Where;

k2 is rate constant at second temperature

k1 is rate constant at first temperature

R is universal gas constant

T1 is first temperature

T2 is second temperature

We are given;

k1 = 2.8 × 10^(-3) /s

k2 = 4.8 × 10^(-4) /s

R = 8.314 J/mol.k

T1 = 60°C = 333.15 K

T2 = 45°C = 318.15 K

Thus;

Log((4.8 × 10^(-4))/(2.8 × 10^(-3))) = (E_a/(2.303 × 8.314))((1/333.15) - (1/318.15))

We now have;

-0.76592 = -0.00000739121E_a

E_a = -0.76592/-0.00000739121

E_a = 103.626 × 10³ KJ/mol
