Answer:

Due to application of heat on a saturated solution, the interparticle space increases due to increase in the kinetic energy of the particles which allows more solutes to dissolve in the solution thereby making it unsaturated.

You collect hydrogen gas over water at 323 K. The partial pressure of hydrogen is 122.4, and the total pressure is 134.7 kPa. Wh
Julli [10]

Answer:

12.3kPa

Explanation:

Using Dalton's law which states: in a mixture of gases the total pressure is equal to the  sum of the pressures of all gases present.  In this question,

Total Pressure = Pressure of Hydrogen + Pressure of water vapor

Pressure of Hydrogen = 122.4kPa

Total Pressure  134.7kPa.

Pressure of water vapor = Total pressure - Pressure of Hydrogen =

134.7kPa - 122.4kPa = 12.3kPa.

Vapor pressure of water at certain temperatures is is usually available in vapor pressure table.  In this question temperature here is 323 K.

Convert 323 K to celsius (using the formula Celsius = K -273) will give us 323 k -273 = 50 degrees celsius.  Checking the vapor pressure of water at 50 degrees celsius will show you 12.34kPa

A man driving a car is exactly 5000 meters due west from the line marking the eastern time zone. He
laiz [17]
The eastern time zone would the opposite side of the angle made by his car. So this means he would be traveling 30cos30 m/s completely in the east direction. Or approximately 26 m/s in the East direction. 5000 m divided by this answer results in approximately 192 seconds. I would use a calculator to get a more exact answer

Where does all of this energy come from
Amiraneli [1.4K]

Answer: All of our energy comes from the sun, which is our nearest star. The sun sends out huge amounts of energy through its rays every day. We call this energy solar energy or radiant energy. Without the sun, life on earth would not exist, since our planet would be totally frozen.
