Does the graph represent a function? why or why not?
MakcuM [25]

Answer:

The answer should be c

Step-by-step explanation:

whenever you are trying to determine whether a graph determines a function or not, just draw a vertically straight line through the graph's line. If you draw that line and it goes through the graph's line more than once, then the graph does not represent a function.

What is this plzz need help for math homework it is very hard
evablogger [386]
I believe the correct answer is “a5+2” or, like the question says to write it, “7 L(centimeters.)” this is because using the normal steps for equations, you add up how many “a”s you have total. Then you combine “-1 and +3”, which gives you positive 2. Then you add 5+2 which gives you 7. Hope this helped! :) please mark as Brainliest if the answer is correct!

In a study of weight gains by college students in their freshman year, researchers record the amounts of weight gained by random
Valentin [98]

Answer:

For this particular case they are interested on the amount of weight gained by randomly selecting some students, we need to remember that the weight can't be a discrete random variable since this random variable can take values on a specified interval and with decimals, so for this case the best conclusion is that we have  a continuous data set.

Step-by-step explanation:

Previous concepts

We need to remember that continuous random variable mans that the values are specified over an interval in the domain, so is possible to have decimal values for the possible outcomes of the random variable.

By the other hand a discrete random variable only can take integers for the possible outcomes of the random variable over the specified domain.

Solution to the problem

For this particular case they are interested on the amount of weight gained by randomly selecting some students, we need to remember that the weight can't be a discrete random variable since this random variable can take values on a specified interval and with decimals, so for this case the best conclusion is that we have  a continuous data set.
