Answer:

x = -2

y = 7

Step-by-step explanation:

-x + 7y = 51

-x - 4y = -26

=> -x + 7y = 51

    -x - 4y = -26

=>  -x + 7y = 51

      x + 4y = 26

=> 7y = 51

    4y = 26

=> 7y + 4y = 51 + 26

=> 11y = 77

=> y = 7

=> -x + 7(7) = 51

=> -x + 49 = 51

=> -x = 51 - 49

=> -x = 2

=> x = -2

Hoped this helped.

The graph represents p(x) = |x|

To graph r(x) and q(x), pick any values of x to graph (I'd pick the numbers on the x- scales, -6, -4, -2, 0, 2, 4, and 6)

As for explaining them, I'm sure something like "multiply the absolute value of x by -1/2" for describing q(x) is an acceptable answer.

Your friend Jamie rolled a number cube and got the number 5. in his next turn he says he won’t be able to roll another 5 because
konstantin123 [22]
No, the probability of getting a 5 is 1/6, but you could roll any number of fives in a row. It is just as likely to get rolled the second time as it was the first.

barxatty [35]
The $44 meal was charged before Janine reported it as stolen. So the money would have left the account before the bank put any blocks on the credit card. So as a result, Janine is responsible for paying $44
