Answer:

Matter is a substance that takes up space and Air takes up space even though it is invisible. When it is very windy outside and you are pushed back, that is the air's pressure reacting on you, showing it is matter because it has the strength the move you/make you stumble. Air Pressure is what reacts on you when you are pushed back, same for wind blowing trees and doing damage to property.

An object is acted upon by a force of 22 newtons to the right and a force of 13 newtons to the left. What is the magnitude and d
Damm [24]

9 Newtons on the right, because:

Right and left are opposite directions, however, in the same direction.

We know that, opposite directions, the signal is of subtraction. So, you need to make the difference between 22 and 13, you will see that it is 9. Therefore, the Resulting Force will be 9.

If transpiration didn't take place, would water be able to enter the roots of the plant? Explain your reasoning
s2008m [1.1K]

Answer:

If transpiration didn't take place water would still be able to enter the roots of a plant

Explanation:

transpiration is the process of water leaving from living organisms to the atmosphere, therefore, if transpiration didn't occur the water would not transpire to the atmosphere and would remain in the root but water absorption would not change because it is a biological need for the living organism as such
