What is the net force acting on a falling object when it reaches terminal velocity? a force equal to gravity 9.8 m/s2 two times
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

The net force is zero

Explanation:

When an object is falling, there are two forces acting on it:

- The force of gravity, which is equal to the weight of the object, which pushes the object downwards

- The air resistance, which acts against the motion of the object, so it pulls upward

While the magnitude of the force of gravity is constant, the magnitude of the air resistance increases as the velocity of the falling object increases: at some point of the motion, the air resistance becomes equal in magnitude to the force of gravity. At this point, the net force on the object becomes zero, and according to Newton's second law, the acceleration of the object becomes also zero:

F=ma

But zero acceleration means that the velocity of the object is now constant: this is known as terminal velocity.

If you just saw a shooting star and wanted to write about the moment, which would be the best type of poem to write? a haiku a n
Norma-Jean [14]
I personally would write it in a Ballad format.
Ballad poems tell a story.

Narrative poems tells a story often making the voices of the/a narrator or character.

Haiku poems rarely rhyme.

Sonnet poems are rhythmic.

A uniform electric field, with a magnitude of 370 N/C, is directed parallel to the positive x-axis. If the electric potential at
dem82 [27]

Answer:

\Delta U = 0.2072 J

Explanation:

Potential difference between two points in constant electric field is given by the formula

\Delta V = E.\Delta x

here we know that

E = 370 N/C

also we know that

\Delta x = 2.1 - 1.9 = 0.2 m

now we have

\Delta V = 370 (0.2) = 74 V

now change in potential energy is given as

\Delta U = Q\Delta V

\Delta U = (2.80 \times 10^{-3})(74)

\Delta U = 0.2072 J

The greater the mass is in an object, the higher resistance to a change in movement the object will have. Please select the best
Fofino [41]
This statement is true. The greater the mass is in an object, it is indeed the higher resistance to a change in movement the object will have. That only mean that the mass of an object and its resistance to change of movement is directly proportional.
