Theobromine (greek theobroma, meaning "food of the gods") is a common constituent in coca. fill in all the lone pairs on each he
Ganezh [65]

The lone pair of electrons in Theobromine are shown in RED color in attached figure.

Details:

           In chemistry there are two types of electrons.

i) Bonding Pair Electrons:

                                        These are those electrons which are being shared and are involved in making bonds. They are also called as sharing electrons. In given structure all the solid bonds either single or double are made up of bonding pair electrons.

ii) Lone Pair / Non-Bonding Pair Electrons:

                                                                     Those electrons which doesn't take part in bonding and are not shared between atoms. In given structure the lone pair of electrons are found only on nitrogen atoms (single lone pair) and oxygen atoms (two lone pair of electrons) respectively.

Hybridization of Nitrogen Atoms;

                                                      N₁  =  Sp²

                                                      N₂  =  Sp³

                                                      N₃  =  Sp³

                                                      N₄  =  Sp³

Hybridization of Oxygen Atoms;

                                                      O₁  =  Sp²

                                                      O₂  =  Sp²

Consider the chemical equation for the combustion of sugar. _C6H12O6(s) + _O2(g) Right arrow. _CO2(g) + _H2O(l) Which sequence o
ioda

Answer:

1C₆H₁₂O₆(s) + 6O₂(g) → 6CO₂(g) + 6H₂O(l)

Explanation:

In general equation combustions where all carbon produce CO₂ and all hydrogen H₂O we must begin the balance with these two species:

_C₆H₁₂O₆(s) + _O₂(g) → _CO₂(g) + _H₂O(l)

If sugar is 1, CO₂ and H₂O must be:

1C₆H₁₂O₆(s) + _O₂(g) → 6CO₂(g) + 6H₂O(l)

Thus, C and H are balanced. In the right side we have 12 oxygen from CO₂ + 6 oxygen from H₂O = 18 oxygen

In the left there are 6, thus, O₂ must provide 12 oxygens, thus:

1C₆H₁₂O₆(s) + 6O₂(g) → 6CO₂(g) + 6H₂O(l)

And this is the balanced reaction

NH3 1. Lewis Structure 2. Perspective drawing 3. Number of atoms bonded to central atom 4. Number of non-bonding electron pairs
Stels [109]

This question will be answered in parts:

1. Lewis Structure

There are three N-H bonds and one lone pair on the nitrogen atom in the Lewis structure of NH3. On hydrogen atoms, there are no lone pairs that can only hold two electrons.

The lewis structure is as shown in the diagram.

2. Perspective Drawing

A molecule is shown from a viewpoint with its atoms' bonds pointing either in your direction (bolded wedge) or away from you (hash wedge).

The perspective drawing of NH3 is given here

3.Number of atoms bonded to central atom

Nitrogen is the central atom in the Lewis structure of NH3, which also contains one lone pair and is bound to the three hydrogen atoms.

4.Number of non-bonding electron pairs on the central atom

Three bond pairs and two lone pairings exist. This is due to the fact that nitrogen contains five electrons in its outer shell, three of which are bound to hydrogen atoms and two of which are free.

5. Electronic geometry:

The electronic geometry of nitrogen is based on a tetrahedral arrangement of electron pairs, and ammonia likewise possesses four electron pairs. There is only one lone pair because there are only three connected groupings. But since the lone pairs are "invisible," the ammonia has a pyramidal form.

6. Molecular geometry with ideal bond angles

The molecular geometry of ammonia it has a trigonal pyramidal or distorted tetrahedral structure.

The bond angle in ammonia is less than the standard 109.5⁰. The bond angle is 107⁰

7.Hybridization of central atom

The core nitrogen (N) atom in the NH3 molecule has a steric number of (3 + 1) = 4, which causes Sp3 hybridization.

8. Polarity:

Because of its asymmetrical form, a trigonal pyramidal structure, and the different electronegativities of N(3.04) and H(2.2), the NH3 (ammonia) molecule is polar in nature .
