Answer:

Surface wave is a combination of  transverse wave and longitudinal wave.

Explanation:

Surface wave is composed of two waves:

  1. Longitudinal wave is the wave in which particle of the medium move in the same direction of the wave.
  2. Transverse wave is the wave in which particle of the medium vibrates perpendicular to the direction of the wave.For example ripples on water.

How many grams of C8H18<br> is in 405,576.398 mL
nevsk [136]

Molarity X \frac{0.762 mol}{05.576398 L} = Mass is the of C_8H_1_8 is in 405,576.398 mL.

<h3>What is molarity?</h3>

Molarity (M) is the amount of a substance in a certain volume of solution. Molarity is defined as the moles of a solute per litres of a solution. Molarity is also known as the molar concentration of a solution.

Given data:

Molar mass of  C_8H_1_8 = 0.762 mol

Volume of solution = 405,576.398 mL = 405,576.398 mL/1000 = 405.576398 L

Solution:

Step 1: Calculating  moles of C_8H_1_8

• Molarity =\frac{\;Moles \;of \;solute}{\;Volume \;of \;solution \;in \;litre}

• Putting the value in the given formula

• Moles of solute C8H18 = \frac{\;Mass}{\;Molar \;molar \;mass}

• Moles of solute C8H18 = \frac{\;Mass}{0.762 mol}

Now,

Molarity =\frac{\;Moles \;of \;solute}{\;Volume \;of \;solution \;in \;litre}

Molarity =\frac{\frac{\;Mass}{0.762 mol}}{\;Volume \;of \;solution \;in \;litre}

Molarity =\frac{\frac{\;Mass}{0.762 mol}}{405.576398 L}

Molarity X \frac{0.762 mol}{05.576398 L} = Mass

Hence, Molarity X \frac{0.762 mol}{05.576398 L} = Mass is the of C_8H_1_8 is in 405,576.398 mL.

The reaction of 2-chloropropane with sodium hydroxide can occur via both SN1 and SN2 mechanisms.
strojnjashka [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

(a) Part 1: S_N1 reaction. This is a nucleophilic substitution reaction in which we have two steps. Firstly, chlorine, a good leaving group, leaves the carbon skeleton to form a relatively stable secondary carbocation. This carbocation is then attacked by the hydroxide anion, our nucleophile, to form the final product.

To summarize, this mechanism takes places in two separate steps. The mechanism is attached below.

Part 2: S_N2 reaction. This is a nucleophilic substitution reaction in which we have one step. Our nucleophile, hydroxide, attacks the carbon and then chlorine leaves simultaneously without an intermediate carbocation being formed.

The mechanism is attached as well.

(b) The rate determining step is the slow step. Formation of the carbocation has the greatest activation energy, so this is our rate determining step for S_N1. For S_N2, we only have one step, so the rate determining step is the attack of the nucleophile and the loss of the leaving group.

How can toxicant absorption be reduced after exposure to the skin? How can absorption be reduced for orally consumed chemicals?
zmey [24]

Answer:

The toxicant absorbtion can be reduced after exposure to the skin the surrounding clothing shoes or gloves should be removed or torn off than the part of the body which was exposured to the toxicant should be immediatly washed using clean running water for a while, with cold shower being the most recommended splashing method. In case of absorption for orally consumed chemicals should check on any remaining toxicant residue and be removed from the mouth. Vomiting should be induced to patients that are still conscious by providing them with liquids that can provoke vomiting. This will help in removing the toxicant in the intestinal and reduce their effect. Gastric lavage should then be done to induce diarrhea.

H2(g)+p4(s)ph3(g) what the answer ?
disa [49]

Answer:

6H2 + P4→ 4PH3

Explanation:

Phosphorus has 4 in it and hydrogen has 3 in it. in order to balance it, we have to put 4 in front of phosphine so that the phosphorus on the product side has an equal amount as to the one on the reactant side.

the only one left to balance is hydrogen and so in order to balance it we put a 6 on h2 because the hydrogen in the product size becomes 12 (4 * 3).

therefore the hydrogen on the reactant side becomes 12 as well (6 * 2)
