Refer to the diagram shown below.

μ = 0.2. the coefficient of dynamic friction
N = mg cosθ, the normal reaction
μN = μmg cosθ, the frictional force resisting motion down the inclined plane.
mg sinθ = the force driving the block down the inclined plane.

Because the block slides down the inclined plane with constant velocity, it is in dynamic equilibrium.
Therefore
mg sinθ = μmgcosθ
tanθ = μ = 0.2
θ =tan⁻¹ 0.2 = 11.3°

Answer: 11.3°

A positive charge is moved from point A to point B along an equipotential surface. How much work is performed or required in mov
Nitella [24]

Answer:

No work is performed or required in moving the positive charge from point A to point B.

Explanation:

Lets take

Q= Positive charge which move from point A to point B along

Voltage difference,ΔV =V₁ - V₂

The work done

W = Q . ΔV

Given that charge is moved from point A to point B along an equipotential surface.It means that voltage difference is zero.

ΔV = 0

So

W = Q . ΔV

W = Q x 0

W= 0 J

So work is zero.

A manufacturer selected a metal to use in producing a lightweight button for clothing. A metal that has a density of 2.71 g/cm3
Natali5045456 [20]

Just find the density of every metal and select the one with a density of 2.71 g/cm³ . This is:

Metal 1

ρ = m/V

ρ = 22.1 g / 3 cm³

ρ = 7.367 g / cm³

Metal 2

ρ = m/V

ρ = 42 g / 4 cm³

ρ = 10.5 g / cm³

Metal 3

ρ = m/V

ρ = 9.32 g / 5 cm³

ρ = 1.864 g / cm³

Metal 4

ρ = m/V

ρ = 8.13 g / 3 cm³

ρ = 2.71 g / cm³

R / Metal 4 was selected.

A place kicker must kick a football from a point 36.0 m (about 40 yards) from the goal. half the crowd hopes the ball will clear
trapecia [35]
The ball clears by 11.79 meters Let's first determine the horizontal and vertical velocities of the ball. h = cos(50.0)*23.4 m/s = 0.642788 * 23.4 m/s = 15.04 m/s v = sin(50.0)*23.4 m/s = 0.766044 * 23.4 m/s = 17.93 m/s Now determine how many seconds it will take for the ball to get to the goal. t = 36.0 m / 15.04 m/s = 2.394 s The height the ball will be at time T is h = vT - 1/2 A T^2 where h = height of ball v = initial vertical velocity T = time A = acceleration due to gravity So plugging into the formula the known values h = vT - 1/2 A T^2 h = 17.93 m/s * 2.394 s - 1/2 9.8 m/s^2 (2.394 s)^2 h = 42.92 m - 4.9 m/s^2 * 5.731 s^2 h = 42.92 m - 28.0819 m h = 14.84 m Since 14.84 m is well above the crossbar's height of 3.05 m, the ball clears. It clears by 14.84 - 3.05 = 11.79 m
