Answer:

A) The blades convert wind energy into rotational energy.

Explanation:

Wind turbines use blades to collect the wind's kinetic energy. Wind flows over the blades creating lift (similar to the effect on airplane wings), which causes the blades to turn. The blades are connected to a drive shaft that turns an electric generator, which produces (generates) electricity.

A pendulum has 573 J of potential energy at the highest point of its swing. How much kinetic energy will it have at the bottom o
prohojiy [21]
If we consider all energy losses due to bearing friction and aerodynamic resistance as negligible, then the energy from the maximum potential energy and the zero kinetic energy will be preserved.

Given this assumption, the energy of the pendulum at the highest point (maximum potential energy) and the lowest point (zero kinetic energy) is equal.

Therefore,the lowest point  = the highest point  = 573 J.
The answer is  573 J.

In a nuclear power plant, Choose one: A. control rods regulate the rate of the reaction by releasing excess neutrons. B. pitchbl
Veronika [31]

Answer:

option A.

Explanation:

The correct answer is option A.

Nuclear power plant are used to generate electricity. In these power plant energy is produced by fission in the nuclear reactor.

The most common fuel used for the production of energy is U-235.

Control rods are inserted in the reactor if energy requirement is less and when energy requirement is large Control rods are remove. Hence, we can say that control rod can be used to regulate the reaction in the nuclear power plant.

If an organism starts from only one cell, how do we get different body parts and organs
Vladimir [108]

Every cell has chromosomes in its nucleus.  In a human cell,
there are 26 of them. AND ... lined up on every chromosome
are thousands and thousands of GENES.  Those carry the
instructions for what kind of organ or bone or tissue or hair
this cell will be used to build, how the structure will work, how
tall you will be, what color your eyes will be, how deep your
voice will be, and what illnesses you will have.

Every cell has the complete set of instructions in it.  In the past
several years, we have just started to be able to read them, and
extraordinary progress has been made.  There's an awful long way
still left to go.
