The difference between an electrician and an electrical engineer is the way of working towards a common electrical project.

An engineer is a person who performs a function like designing, building, or maintaining engines, machines, or structures.

Electrical engineers and electricians both commonly involved in the process of creating and installing critical electrical systems.

An electrical engineer can design electronics and is familiar with the working of electrical parts.

An electrician is much more like a builder. They take the designs from electrical engineer and follow them to create, repair, or revise actual electrical systems.
