Given data

  efficiency (η) = 65 %

                        = 0.65

  Machine provides (Work done by the machine) = 1300 × 50

                                                                                 = 65000 J

  efficiency (η) = work done by the machine ÷ work supplied to the machine

               0.65 =  65000 ÷ Input work

              Input work = 100000 J

                                = 100 KJ

a particle moves along the x axis with an acceleration of a=18t, where a has units if m/s2. if the particle at time t=0 is at th
ludmilkaskok [199]

Answer:

 Position at t= 4 seconds is 144 m

Explanation:

 It is given that acceleration, a = 18 t, where t is the time.

 We know that Velocity, v = \int { a} \, dt

  Substituting value of a,

           Velocity, v = \int {18t} \, dt=\frac{18t^2}{2} +c=9t^2+c

 We know that at t = 0, v = -12 m/s

         So, 9*0^2+c=-12\\ \\ c=-12m/s

So velocity, v = (9t^2-12)m/s

  We also know that displacement, x = \int { v} \, dt

     Substituting value of v,

        Displacement, x=\int {(9t^2-12)} \, dt=\frac{9t^3}{3} -12t+c=3t^3-12t+c

  We know that at t = 0, particle is at origin, x =0.

               So,  0=3*0^3-12*0+c\\ \\ c=0

   Displacement, x = 3t^3-12t

At t = 4 seconds

   x = 3*4^3-12*4=192--48=144m

Position at t= 4 seconds is 144 m

What other structures is it near hypothalamus?
Colt1911 [192]
The other structures near the hypothalamus are thalamus and the pituitary gland.
Hypothalamus is located below the thalamus and is part of the limbic system. It is an integral part of the brain, it is a small cone-shaped structure that projects down ward from the brain, ending in the pituitary stalk, a tubular connection to the pituitary gland.

What is the direction of the normal contact force of the road on the wheels?
Gekata [30.6K]

Answer:

The direction of the contact forces acting on a body is not necessarily perpendicular to the contact surface. The resolution of contact forces in two components i.e. perpendicular to contact surface and along surface. Perpendicular component is normal force and parallel component is friction.

REY [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

From newton's equation of motion of uniform acceleration

v = u + at

where v is final velocity , u is initial velocity , a is acceleration and time is t .

putting the values

v  =  0 + .5 x 3 x 60  ( time in second = 3 x 60 s )

= 90 m /s

So  , final velocity is 90 m /s .
