My response to question (a) and (b) is that all of the element of the rope need to aid or support the weight of the rope and as such, the tension will tend to increase along with height.

Note that It increases linearly, if the rope is one that do not stretch. So, the wave speed v= √ T/μ increases with height.

How does tension affect the speed of a wave in a rope?

The Increase of the tension placed on a string is one that tends to increases the speed of a wave, which in turn also increases the frequency of any given length.

Therefore, My response to question (a) and (b) is that all of the element of the rope need to aid or support the weight of the rope and as such, the tension will tend to increase along with height. Note that It increases linearly, if the rope is one that do not stretch. So, the wave speed v= √ T/μ increases with height.

A toy cart is pulled a distance of 6.00 m in a straight line across the floor. The force pulling the cart has a magnitude of 20.
aivan3 [116]

Answer:

W = 95.8J

Explanation:

Given

S = 6.00m

F =20.0N

Theta = 37°

W = FSCos(theta)

W = 20×6.0×Cos(37)

W = 95.8J

What makes psychoanalysis different from behaviorism?
svp [43]
Psychoanalysis is a form of therapy that treats mental disorders through different ways, such as dream interpretation. It is a way of looking into the line between conscious and unconsciousness

Behaviorism is a theory that says that mental disorders are treated better with altering the persons behavior patterns.

I think they're different because behaviorism is just simply a theory and not actually a form of therapy.

Hopefully that helps you tell them apart!

What do you understand by upthrust Force
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

hope you like it

Explanation:

An object that is partly, or completely, submerged experiences a greater pressure on its bottom surface than on its top surface. This causes a resultant force upwards. This force is called upthrust . The upthrust force is equal in size to the weight of the fluid displaced by the object.

Buoyancy or upthrust, is an upward force exerted by a fluid that opposes the weight of an immersed object.It is the force that pushes an object up. The upthrust, or buoyancy, keeps ships afloat. The upthrust, or buoyancy, keeps swimmers on top of the water.
