Answer:

A) experimental

B)  The important factors are : Type of instruction, scores and  High schools,

   The factor levels are :

   Level -1 which comprises of  3 highschool,

   Level -2 which comprises of  highschool and the highschool has  4   sections   and each section has 24 students

   Factor level combinations:

  Level 1 : computer and standard based combination

C) Within the subject : 24 students

   Between subject : High school

D) score of the test

E) student

Step-by-step explanation:

A) The study is experimental because of the random assignment of two different types of instruction to the students which will control/affect the technique of teaching without just observing the performance of the students from the side

B) The important factors are : Type of instruction, scores and  High schools,

   The factor levels are :

   Level -1 which comprises of  3 highschool,

   Level -2 which comprises of  highschool and the highschool has  4   sections   and each section has 24 students

   Factor level combinations:

  Level 1 : computer and standard based combination

C) Within the subject : 24 students

   Between subject : High school

D) The dependent measure  is the score of the test

E) The basic experiment unit of the study is : student

Solve the following equation. Only enter the numeric answer (no variables). 30=2.5(10-2x)
yKpoI14uk [10]

Answer:

x = -1

Step-by-step explanation:

30 = 2.5(10)(-2x)  - you multiply by each

30 = 25 - 5x        - then pass 25 to the other side and subract

5x = - 5x               - then divide 5 / -5

x = -1                     - and you have the answer

How derivative of this absolute value function is like this!
Daniel [21]

Recall the definition of absolute value.

|x| = \begin{cases} x & \text{if } x \ge 0 \\ -x & \text{if } x < 0 \end{cases}

When x,

|x| = x \implies \dfrac{d|x|}{dx} = 1

When x,

|x| = -x \implies \dfrac{d|x|}{dx} = -1

The derivative does not exist at x=0, since the one-sided limits

\displaystyle \lim_{x\to0^-} f'(x) = -1

and

\displaystyle \lim_{x\to0^+} f'(x) = +1

do not match.

So the derivative of |x| is

\dfrac{d|x|}{dx} = \begin{cases} 1 & \text{if } x > 0 \\ -1 & \text{if } x < 0 \\ \text{undefined} & \text{if } x = 0\end{cases}

Now we can write this as

\dfrac{d|x|}{dx} = \dfrac x{|x|} = \dfrac{|x|}x

since

x > 0 \implies |x| = x \implies \dfrac{|x|}x = \dfrac xx = 1

and

x < 0 \implies |x| = -x \implies \dfrac{|x|}x = -\dfrac xx = -1

How to factorise? I need to factorise 4a^2 - 12b please show method
Lubov Fominskaja [6]
4a² - 12b  =  4 (a² - 3b)
so you just pull out the common factor between the two term 4
then you divide each term by the common factor to find what remain
                                                            4a²/4 = a²
                                                           -12b/4= -3b
so now you put the four as the multiplier outside of the bracket and then put back the remainders:    4 ( a² - 3b)
