The magnitude and direction of the electrostatic torce is - 0.00712 x 10^9N towards left direction

Given:

q1 = +2 uC

q2 = -2 uC

q3 = +4 uC

To Find:

magnitude le and direction of the electrostatic torce

Solution: Electric force is a vector quantity. The electric force is proportional to the product of the magnitude of the charges. It is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the charges. The electric force is calculated by,

F = kqQ/r^2

Force between q1 and q2

F1 = +2 x -2 x k/50 x 50 = - 0.0016k

Force between q1 and q3

F2 = +2 x +4 x k/100 x 100 = + 0.0008k

Net force on charge at origin is F1 + F2

F(net) = F1 + F2 = - 0.0016k + 0.0008k

F(net) = - 0.0008 x 8.9 x 10^9 = - 0.00712 x 10^9N

So, force on charge at origin is - 0.00712 x 10^9N and towards left direction

(LC)Light fixtures and placement that create shadows on the set, that obscure or completely hide action in certain areas of the
Sedaia [141]

The correct answer is true.

It is true that light fixtures and placement that create shadows on the set, that obscure or completely hide action in certain areas of the set, or that change as the main character’s emotional state changes are all ways that lighting can be used to heighten the drama and suspense in dramatic films.

Lighting plays an important role in film making because it can create scenes that enhance the de drama of the moment or the right mood that the director wants to share. Lighting in the film is an art because the basic principle is that the scene needs to look natural. From that principle, filmmakers and light specialist cand create many kinds of dramatic or jubilation moments if they know how to apply light principles to each scene.

If a voltmeter has a less than ideal resistance, say 1 MΩ, and is used to measure the voltage across a resistor of a comparable
Naddik [55]

Answer:

As the difference between the resistance of voltmeter and the resistance being measured gets reduced the error in the reading of the voltmeter gets increased.

Explanation:

An ideal voltmeter has infinite parallel resistance and because of this it doesn't draw any current from the circuit of measurement which means it will measure the exact voltage across the elements.

But practically speaking, a real voltmeter doesn't has infinite resistance therefore, all the practical voltmeters face loading effect to some extent.

As the difference between the resistance of voltmeter and the resistance being measured gets reduced the error in the reading of the voltmeter gets increased. This is why we want to have a greater value of voltmeter resistance, ideally infinite so that the corresponding error is minimized.

Lets consider the given scenario,

A voltmeter has 1 MΩ parallel resistance and the resistance of of measuring element is 500 kΩ or 0.5 MΩ

lets suppose the supplied voltage is 1 V.

First lets assume that the voltmeter is ideal and it has infinite resistance, so in this case voltmeter will measure a voltage of 1 V across the 0.5 MΩ resistor.

Now consider the loading effect, when we connect the voltmeter across the 0.5 MΩ resistor they both become parallel so the resistance is

R = (1*0.5)/(1+0.5)

R = 0.33 MΩ

As you can see the voltmeter will see a reduced resistance and the corresponding voltage also reduces because resistance and voltage are directly proportional.

Therefore, it is preferred to have a very high parallel resistance of the voltmeter.
