Mitosis takes place in four stages: prophase (sometimes divided into early prophase and prometaphase), metaphase, anaphase, and telophase.

Mitosis is the process in which the nucleus of a eukaryotic cell divides. During this process, sister chromatids separate from each other and move to opposite poles of the cell. This happens in four phases, called prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase

Answer:

The four phases of cell division are prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase.

Explanation:

During the prophase, mitotic spindle begins to form. the chromosomes start to condence and the nucleus disappears.

During the metaphase, the chromosomes align themselves in the moddle of the cell. They form a metaphase plate by this alignment.

During anaphase, the sister chromatids are pulled towards the opposite poles by the microtubules.

During the telophase,  chromatids have been equally divided to each part. Hence, the mitotic spindle breaks down. Nuclear membranes forms again around the two daughter cells.

Acids and bases can neutralize each other in double displacement reactions. For example, if hydrogen chloride (a strong acid, HC
scoray [572]

Answer:

The answer to your question is    HCl  +  NaOH   ⇒   NaCl  +  H₂O

Explanation:

Data

Double displacement reaction

Balanced chemical reaction

               HCl  +  NaOH   ⇒   NaCl  +  H₂O

           Reactants           Elements                Products

                 1                  Chlorine (Cl)                    1

                 1                   Sodium (Na)                   1

                 2                 Hydrogen (H)                  2

                 1                   Oxygen (0)                      1

As we can see, the reaction is balanced and the coefficients of all reactants and products are 1, but the number is not written in a balanced reaction.

Why both men and women could become victims of violence
ycow [4]
Because some people don't care if your a man or a woman they'll still try to harm you which is wrong cause i don't see why people have to kill each other but they do its out of bad habit and its also what they choose in life some people choose to be murders and some choose to go to work and have a family instead of being in jail for the rest of your life unless your sentenced to death. But some people don't understand a lot of things but i do well some but i do know this that when people kill someone they may feel bad but sometimes they don't they feel happy and wanna do it again so they run and try not to get caught. but life isn't fair but lets hope that the world will come around again if it ever does but its always gonna be on the news that someone is murdered.

g Where, approximately, is the negative pole on each of these molecules? Lewis structure for C O F 2. A central C atom is single
seropon [69]

The molecule with higher dipole moment is COFH because the geometry of the molecule in the COF2 nearly cancel the dipolar moment of each other. To be more clear:

The dipolar moment is the vectorial sum of all bond moments in the molecule or dipolar moment of each bond. The dipolar moment of a molecule with three or more atoms is determined by bond polarity as their geometry.

COF2 has a trigonal planar structure which are symmetric. The electronegativity of oxygen is slightly different regarding fluor. So as you can see in the image, the electronic density is specially displaced to the fluor atoms, but either to the oxygen atom.

COFH has a trigonal structure but differs from COF2 because there is an hydrogen who is donating it's electronic density, so in this zone the electronic density is less than over oxygen or fluor. That makes bond angles be different between them.

Which of these statements is false? (A) Acetylene (ethyne) can be converted to the acetylide anion by treating with a strong bas
Free_Kalibri [48]

Answer:

(C) Acetylene (ethyne) can be converted to the acetylide anion by treating with a strong base such as CH₃Li.

Explanation:

Acetylene (C₂H₂) can be converted to the acetylide anion (C₂⁻²) when treated with a base because it will donate protons (2H⁺). So it will be a neutralization reaction. NaNH₂ and NaOH are strong bases because they are good electrons donators ( NaNH₂ has pair of electrons on N, and NaOH has the group OH⁻), but CH₃Li has no pair of electrons to donate, so it's not a strong base.
