Newton's law of Universal Gravitation tells that Force between two objects is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

As there is mass for every object, and they are separated by certain distance (from 1 cm to more than hundreds of light years), they exerts Gravitational force on each other

Hope this helps!

Because gravity pulls everything down like when you jump in the air you fall right back down.

Explanation:

formula: <u>Mass</u>

Density x volume

2a) m=10kg v=0.3m³

10÷0.3=33.3 kg/m

2b) m = 160 kg V=0.1m³

160÷0.1=1600 kg/m

2c) m = 220 kg V = 0.02m³

220÷0.02=11000 kg/m

A wooden post has a volume of 0.025m³ and a mass of 20kg. Calculate its density in kg/m.

density = volume ÷ mass

20÷ 0.025=800 kg/m

Challenge: A rectangular concrete slab is 0.80m long, 0.60 m wide and 0.04m thick. Calculate its volume in m³.

Formula : Length x width x height = Volume

0.80 x 0.60 x 0.04 = 0.0192m³

B) The mass of the concrete slab is 180 kg. Calculate its density in kg/m.

density = volume ÷ mass

180 ÷ 0.0192 = 9375 kg/m

A 100 N force is applied to a 500 kg crate resting on frictionless wheels.
Alla [95]

Answer:

<h2>0.2 m/s²</h2>

Explanation:

The acceleration of an object given it's mass and the force acting on it can be found by using the formula

a =  \frac{f}{m}  \\

f is the force

m is the mass

From the question we have

a =  \frac{100}{500}  =  \frac{1}{5}  = 0.2 \\

We have the final answer as

<h3>0.2 m/s²</h3>

Hope this helps you

masya89 [10]
The equation for work (W) done by an electric field is:

W = qΔV

where q is the magnitude of the charge and ΔV is the potential difference. The question gives you W and q, so plug n' play to find ΔV:

10 = 2ΔV
ΔV = 5
