Answer:

C. Increase by a factor of two.

Explanation:

Lets take angular speed = \omega \ rad/s

Initially radius = r m

The tangential velocity = v m/s

We know that

v=\omega r

If the radius becomes double ,lets say r'

r'= 2 r

Then

The tangential velocity = v' m/s

v'=\omega r'

v'=\omega (2r)

v'=2\omega r

v' = 2 v

Then we can say that velocity will become double.

Therefore the answer will be C.

C. Increase by a factor of two.

When conducting a search to identify a text's credibility and reliability, you have to check the following characteristics:

 • Sources: where the information is obtained and it is supposed to be true. It is said that you need at least three different sources that explain the same information for it to be validated.

 • Is the article is current?: articles could change all the time, specially scientific ones because new discoveries can change what was discovered before, so it is important to check if the text you are reading is current or not, and if it is not, you need to check if something has changed during all those years.

Article's credibility

In this exercise, you have to present an article and describe the purpose of the source and if the article is current or not.

For example, let's select an article called "How using social media affects teenagers".

The purpose of the sources in this article is to demonstrate how social media affects teenagers using different surveys.

How does the acceleration due to gravity relate to the mass of an object and the distance from Earth?
Irina18 [472]
The object's mass is irrelevant.
The acceleration due to Earth's gravity is inversely proportional to the square of the object's distance from the center of the Earth.

Consider two objects of the same mass. If a force of 100N acts on the first for a duration of 1s and on the other for a duration
kompoz [17]
So velocity=displacement/time and force=mass*acceleration. Both objects have the same acceleration because the amount of time doesn’t play a role in the equation. Momentum equation is p=mv so only the mass and overall velocity matter. Therefore, the answer is c because time is not a variable

Calculate the electrostatic force that a small sphere A, possessing a net charge of 2.0 x 10^-6 Coulombs exerts on another small
Anni [7]

Answer:

F = 5.33*10^-4N

Explanation:

to find the electrostatic force you use the Coulomb's law, given by the formula:

F=k\frac{q_Aq_B}{r^2}

k: Coulomb's constant = 8.89*10^9 Nm^2/C^2

q_a: charge of A = 2.0*10^{-6}C

q_B: charge of B = -3.0*10^{-6}C

r: distance between the spheres = 10.0m

By replacing all these values you obtain:

F=(8.89*10^9Nm^2/C^2)\frac{(2.0*10^{-6}C)(-3.0*10^{-6}C)}{(10.0m)^2}=5.33*10^{-4}N

hence, the forcebetween the spheres is about 5.33*10^-4N
