Chemical weathering weakens the outer surfaces of rocks and its primary agent is water. Mechanical weathering is carried out by impact or attrition by water and air.
Both of these forms of weathering combine and cause rocks to obtain a spherical shape. The concentric layers of rock are combined to form structures known as saprolite.

Wha is the frequency of a wave having a period equal to 18 seconds?
Rainbow [258]

Answer:

5.5 × 10-2 hertz

Explanation:

The time taken by a wave crest to travel a distance equal to the length of wave is known as wave period.

= 0.055 per second          (1 cycle per second = 1 Hertz)

Thus, we can conclude that the frequency of the wave is 5.5 X 10^{-2} hertz.

Hopes this helps, love <3

Water flows at a rate of 0.25 kg/sec in a 2.5 cm diameter tube having a length of 3m. Constant heat flux is imposed at the tube
Rus_ich [418]

Answer:

68.75W

Explanation:

Heat transfer is describe as the flow of thermal energy as a result of changes in temperature between two or more bodies. Heat  transferred via solid bodies is called conduction, and that associated with liquids and gases  is called convection, and likewise, the one attributed to electromagnetical waves  is called radiation.

heat transfer from the tube wall to the water = kA.ΔT

= 3500* π* (2.5 * 10⁻²)²/4 *40

= 68.75W
