I NEED HELP FAST!!!!! Can you tell me about the development of the periodic table??? I have a DBA in a few minutes and I don't k
weqwewe [10]
Dimitri Mendeleev was the first to put elements together on a table. He knew there were elements missing but he noticed a trend in some of the elements known at the time. Sodium, Lithium and other alkali metals all have the same properties so he put them under the same column and created other columns with similar attributes (Halogens, Noble gases, Alkaline earth metals). Over the years, new elements were discovered and put into the rough outline that Mendeleev created.

I hope that is about what you wanted.

Lynna [10]

The pressure in the flask is 3.4 atm.

<em>pV</em> = <em>nRT </em>

<em>T</em> = (20 + 273.15) K = 293.15 K

<em>p</em> = (<em>nRT</em>)/<em>V</em> = (1.4 mol × 0.082 06 L·atm·K⁻¹mol⁻¹ × 293.15 K)/10 L = 3.4 atm

describe how the current modern atomic theory and model differs from the model jj Thompson proposed ?
myrzilka [38]
J.J Thompson’s model shows a sphere with electrons that are moving around freely. However, Thompson’s model does not show protons or neutrons. The model that we have today gives a clearer structure showing protons, neutrons, and electrons inside an atom.
