Hello,

Here is your answer:

The proper answer to this question is that you find the velocity by "you have to divide the distance by time of the object".

If you need anymore help feel free to ask me!

Hope this helps!

'Velocity' has two parts ... size, and direction.

Size of velocity ...
-- Find the distance between start point and end point.
-- Divide that distance by the time it took to get from start to end.

Direction of velocity ...
-- Direction of velocity is the direction from start point to end point.
The actual route followed from start to end doesn't matter.

a Car with a mass of 2000 kg is moving around a circular curve at a uniform velocity of 25 m/s the curve has a radius of 80 m wh
Viefleur [7K]
Well, first of all, the car is not moving at a uniform velocity, because,
on a curved path, its direction is constantly changing.  Its speed may
be constant, but its velocity isn't.

The centripetal force on a mass 'm' that keeps it on a circle with radius 'r' is

             F = (mass) · (speed)² / (radius).

For this particular car, the force is

                    (2,000 kg) · (25 m/s)² / (80 m)

                 = (2,000 kg) · (625 m²/s²) / (80 m)

                 = (2,000 · 625 / 80)  (kg · m / s²)

                 =              15,625  newtons .

When scientists state that energy transformation are inefficient, do they mean energy is destroyed? Explain why.
TiliK225 [7]

no. energy is not created or destroyed, just transformed.

a hot light source is less efficient than a cold one ... heat is not light ...
