Dependent: Ventus has a bag of chex mix and he spent his time counting and organizing the food. There are 13/31 white pieces of chex, 10/31 pretzels, and 8/31 cracker bites.  he wants to see if he can grab two white chex pieces, one at a time without replacing the first attempt. He reaches his hand into the bag and gets a white chex piece and doesn't replace it. What is the probability that Ventus will grab another white chex?
independent: Cabel has a bowl of fruit and his sister won't let him take one and look at it for some strange reason/ however, she does tell him the probability of picking each fruit out of 12. 2/6 oranges, 3/12 apples, and 5/12 bananas. He must replace every fruit he picks. What is the probability of picking an orange?

A home’s value increases at an average rate of 5.5% each year. The current value is $120,000. What function can be used to find
Fed [463]
<span>
For the answer to the question above,
5.5% converted to a decimal is 0.055.
However, the house already retains 100% of it's value each year, with 5.5% as an increase.
therefore we can use the function </span><span>f(x) = 120,000(1.055)x to solve this.

(Always, sometimes, never question) If two sides and a non-included angle of one triangle are congruent to two sides and a non-i
anzhelika [568]

sometimes

the description is describing SSA, which is NOT a type of congruence.

since the congruent angle is non-included (which means it is not in between the two congruent sides), we can't say for sure if the triangles are congruent.

this is because the third side of the triangle is unknown, and that side might not be congruent to the same side in the other triangle.

i hope this helps!

Find the exact volume of a waffle ice cream cone with a 9-in. diameter and a height of 15 inches.
boyakko [2]

The volume of a cone is:

V_{cone}=\dfrac{1}{3}\pi r^2h, where r is base's radius, h is cone's height.

If diameter is 9 in, then radius is 4.5 in and

V_{cone}=\dfrac{1}{3}\pi (4.5)^2\cdot 15=101.25\pi.

Answer: V_{cone}=101.25\pi.
