In this case, you have five electron domains around the central atom(1 pair and 4 bonds). This means that the general shape is going to be a trigonal planar with a line going through the middle. This would normally form a trigonal bipyrimid. But, one of these domains is a lone pair, so remove a bond from the trigonal plane. This gives you a "V" shape with a line going through the vertex, making a see-saw shape.

15g of FeCI3 is dissolved in 450 mL of solution. What is the concentration of [CI-]?
storchak [24]

The concentration of [CI-] : 0.617 M

<h3>Further explanation</h3>

FeCl₃ dissolved in 450 mL of solution(will dissociate )

Reaction

FeCl₃⇒Fe³⁺+3Cl⁻

  • mol FeCl₃(MW=162,2 g/mol)

\tt \dfrac{15}{162.2}=0.0925

  • mol Cl⁻ :

\tt \dfrac{3}{1}\times 0.0925=0.2775

  • molarity of Cl⁻ :

\tt \dfrac{0.2775}{0.45}=0.617~M

Which of the following statements is (are) true about enzyme-catalyzed reactions? a. The reaction is faster than the same reacti
Brums [2.3K]

Answer : The correct option is A.

Explanation :

Enzyme-catalyzed reaction :

Enzyme act as a biological catalyst and the role of catalyst is to increase the rate of chemical reaction by lowering the activation energy.

Most of the chemical reactions are slow in the absence of enzyme but in the presence of enzyme, the reaction become faster. That means the Enzyme accelerate the rate of reaction.

Therefore, the correct answer is the reaction is faster than the same reaction in the absence of the enzyme.
