Your town is considering building a bio diesel power plant. Describe at least two advantages and two disadvantages of this proje
Pachacha [2.7K]

2 disadvantages would be damage to Marine life and hydroelectric plants are very expensive.If they plant is not stable and breaks it can cause flash floods and property damage.2 advantages would be that they do not emit any carbon emmissions.Some cities cannot build hydroelectric power plants because  the stream does not have that kind of pressure .so really it matters greatly on where the dam would be placed. but sunny places like arizonasolar plant would be great

I hope this help

A 3.00-kg pendulum is 28.84 m long. what is its period on earth?
GrogVix [38]
T=2 \pi  \sqrt{ \frac{l}{g} }
This is the period of a pendulum.  Notice the mass doesn't matter.  Plugging in your values and 9.81m/s^2 for g, gives
T=10.7731s.

A straight wire carrying a 3.30-A current is placed in a uniform magnetic field of magnitude 0.272 T directed perpendicular to t
stira [4]

Answer:

F = 0.114 N

Explanation:

a) The magnetic force is given by the equations

    F = q v x B = I Lx B

the bold incate vector.  This equation can be used in the form of magnitude and find the direction separately with the rule of the right hand

    F = i L B sin θ

Where θ is the angle between the direction (L) and the magnetic field, if the two are perpendicular sin 90 = 1

Let's calculate

    F = 3.30 0.127 0.272

    F = 0.114 N

b) to know the direction of the magnetized field we must know the direction of B and L, but in the problem they tell us that they are perpendicular, but not the direction of each
