Answer:

3.324.10^{24}

Explanation:

1 mol of sulfur has6.02.10^{23} (<em>constant of avogadro</em>) sulfur atoms

We want to know how many atoms there are in 5.52 moles of sulfure.

We apply a simple rule of three

1 mol\longrightarrow 6.022.10^{23} atoms \\ 5.52 mol \longrightarrow  x \\ x=\frac{(5.52)mol. 6.022.10^{23}atoms}{1mol}= 3.324.10^{24} atoms

In 5.52 moles of sulfur there are 3.324.10^{24}

Calculate the total pressure in a 10.0 liter flask at 27°C of a sample of gas that contains 6.0 grams of hydrogen, 15.2 grams of
motikmotik

Answer:

The total pressure is 27.8 atm

Explanation:

From the ideal gas equation,

PV = nRT

P (total pressure) = nRT/V

n (total moles of gases) = (6/1 moles of hydrogen) + (15.2/14 moles of nitrogen) + (16.8/4 moles of helium) = 6+1.1+4.2 = 11.3 moles

R = 0.082057L.atm/gmol.K, T = 27°C = 27+273K = 300K, V = 10L

P = 11.3×0.082057×300/10 = 27.8 atm

If mercury (Hg) and oxygen (O2) were reacted to form mercury oxide how many molecules of each reactant and product would be need
dimulka [17.4K]
In order to get HgO you would need 2Hg+1O2=2HgO. Since oxygen is diatomic you need two when it stands alone causing you to need two mercuries to balance out the reactants and the product I hope this helps

How does the geosphere and biosphere interact
Vlada [557]

The geosphere, in turn, reflects the sun's energy back into the atmosphere. The biosphere receives gases, heat, and sunlight (energy) from the atmosphere.

Explanation:

  • The geosphere, in return reflects the sun's energy back into the atmosphere. The biosphere receives gases, heat, and sunlight energy from the atmosphere.
  • Scientists divide the planet into two the main components: the biosphere, which consists of all life.
  • The hydrosphere interacts with the geosphere when particles of water or rain cause land formations to erode.
  • biosphere is the part of the earth and its atmosphere capable of supporting life.
  • Geo sphere is the solid body of the earth.
  • Biosphere is the totality of living organisms and their environment.
