I think *extra stress on the word think lol* it's 6.7 moles of O₂.
unless you have the full formula, giving me the amount of moles in C₆H₁₄ and O₂.

hopefully this helps. :/

A student performs an experiment to find the percentage of water in a hydrate. He determines that the hydrate contains 22% water
Stels [109]

Answer:

A feasible error could have been the removal of the sample before all water evaporated.

Explanation:

In order to determine the percentage of water in an hydrate, an experiment that could be performed is the heating of the sample until the mass does not change. If the student heated the sample an insufficient amount of time, water will be present in the sample, thus reducing the percentage reported.

Calculate the percentage of copper in copper oxide
WITCHER [35]

Well, look up the atomic weights of copper and oxygen; add them appropriately; divide the total for the copper by the total for the molecule; then multiply by 100 to get it as a percentage.

Why do you think polar aprotic solvents increase the rate of an sn2 reaction
viva [34]
Polar protic solvents actually speed up the rate of the unimolecular substitution reaction because the large dipole moment of the solvent helps to stabilize the transition state. The highly positive and highly negative parts interact with the substrate to lower the energy of the transition state.

Answer:

1. Ionic bond

2. High melting point and high boiling point for ionic bonds while covalent bonds have low melting and boiling point.

3. The similarity is that ionic and covalent bonding lead to the creation of stable molecules.

4. 4Fe + 3O2 → 2Fe2O3

5. It uses the process of fission.

6. Fission involves the splitting of radioactive elements into smaller particles/compounds while Fusion involves combining of two or more atomic nuclei to form one or more different atomic nuclei and subatomic particles.

7. Nuclear power plants produce little to no greenhouse gas.

Nuclear power plants produce a large amount of energy for a small mass of fuel.

Nuclear is less expensive.
