Its not really definable. Say, you can have a full moon on the last day of November, and have the waning phases throughout the first half. Or you can have a new moon on the last day of December, and have the waxing phases during the first half of the month.

A cyclist intends to cycle up a 7.70o hill whose vertical height is 126m. Assuming the mass of bicycle plus person is 75.0kg, ca
Ksivusya [100]

Answer:

92704.5 J

596.44737 N

Explanation:

m = Mass of person + bicycle = 75 kg

g = Acceleration due to gravity = 9.81 m/s²

h = Vertical height = 126 m

\theta = Angle = 7.7°

d = Diameter = 0.388 m

Work done against gravity is given by

P=mgh\\\Rightarrow P=75\times 9.81\times 126\\\Rightarrow P=92704.5\ J

Work done is 92704.5 J

Force required is given by

F=\dfrac{mgrsin\theta}{\pi d}\\\Rightarrow F=\dfrac{75\times 9.81\times sin7.7\times 5.12}{\pi\times 0.388}\\\Rightarrow F=596.44737\ N

The force is 596.44737 N

Q5: An ice skater moving at 12 m/s coasts
ExtremeBDS [4]

u = 0.077

Explanation:

Work done by friction is

Wf = ∆KE + ∆PE

-umgx = ∆KE,. ∆PE =0 (level ice surface)

-umgx = KEf - KEi = -(1/2)mv^2

Solving for u,

u = v^2/2gx

= (12 m/s)^2/2(9.8 m/s^2)(95 m)

= 0.077

Draw a winding path that covers a distance of 70 miles and finishes with a displacement 20 miles soulthwest of the starting poin
EleoNora [17]

Distance is indeed a scalar amount that also refers to "<em><u>how the ground an object has encased</u></em>", and the Displacement is a vector thing that leads "<em><u>to the extent to which an object is located</u></em>", and the further calculation can be defined as follows:

Given:

distance= 70 miles

displacement = 20 miles

  • Displacement formula: \bold{Velocity = \frac{displacement}{time}}
  • Distance formula: \bold{Distance = speed \times time}
