Since you did not include the choices, I am going to teach you the order of all the groups from letf to right on the periodic table.

The order from let to right is 1, 2, 3, 4, ...., 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18.

Group    Family

1 Alakalyne metals is the group at the left end.

2 alkakalyne earth metals, is the next group from left to right

3 to 12    transition metals
        3     scandium family
        4     titanium family
        5     vanadium family
        6     chromium family
        7     manganese family
        8     iron family
        9     cobalt family
       10    niquel family
       11 copper family (aka coinage metals)
       12 zinc family (aka volatile metals)

13           boron family, aka icosagens

14            carbon family, aka crystallogens

15            nitrogen family, aka pnictogens

16            oxygen family, aka chalcogens

17            halogens

18 noble gases: is the group at the right end.

Answer:

While a body is said to be in motion if it changes its position with respect to immediate surroundings.

A body is said to be in uniform motion if it covers equal distances in equal interval of time.

A body is said to be in non-uniform motion if it covers unequal distances in equal interval of time or vice-versa

In a high school swim competition, a student takes 1.6 s to complete 1.5 somersaults. Determine the average angular speed of the
Rufina [12.5K]

Answer:

The  angular speed is w = 5.89 \ rad/s

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

    The time taken is  t = 1.6 s

    The number of somersaults is n = 1.5

The total angular displacement during the somersault is mathematically represented as

         \theta  =  n *  2 *  \pi

substituting values

        \theta  =  1.5 *  2 *  3.142

       \theta  = 9.426 \ rad

The angular speed is mathematically represented as

         w =  \frac{\theta }{t}

substituting values

         w =  \frac{9.426}{1.6}

          w = 5.89 \ rad/s

A baseball rolls off of a .7 m high desk and strikes the floor .25 m always how fast was the ball rolling
labwork [276]

Answer:

the ball's velocity was approximately 0.66 m/s

Explanation:

Recall that we can study the motion of the baseball rolling off the table in vertical component and horizontal component separately.

Since the velocity at which the ball was rolling is entirely in the horizontal direction, it doesn't affect the vertical motion that can therefore be studied as a free fall, where only the constant acceleration of gravity is affecting the vertical movement.

Then, considering that the ball, as it falls covers a vertical distance of 0.7 meters to the ground, we can set the equation of motion for this, and estimate the time the ball was in the air:

0.7 = (1/2) g t^2

solve for t:

t^2 = 1.4 / g

t = 0.3779  sec

which we can round to about 0.38 seconds

No we use this time in the horizontal motion, which is only determined by the ball's initial velocity (vi) as it takes off:

horizontal distance covered = vi * t

0.25 = vi * (0.38)

solve for vi:

vi = 0.25/0.38  m/s

vi = 0.65798  m/s

Then the ball's velocity was approximately 0.66 m/s

Current is the movement of negative charges called protons.
A. True
B. False
Kruka [31]

Answer: Option B) False

Explanation:

Current is the movement of negative charges called electrons. Protons, neutrons and electrons are the three subatomic particles that make up particles of the conductors that transmit current, however electrons are negatively charged and their gain or loss determines movement of electric current.

Thus, the statement is false
