First, it all depends on how much money is in the pocket. You would add all of the money up and divide by how much there is then, change that into a fraction.. Then you would get your answer. For example lets say yo have a pocket with 5 pennies, 8 nickels, and 3 dimes. You add up the amount of coins, which is 16 coins. You pull out 4 coins, there is a 3/16 chance you would get 3 dimes.
Hope i helped.

The function c=1.50(n-2)+5.50
qwelly [4]

Answer:

c =1.50n +2.50

Step-by-step explanation:

c=1.50(n-2)+5.50

The first step is to distribute the 1.5

c= 1.50*n -1.50*2 + 5.50

c = 1.50n - 3.0 +5.50

Now we need to combine like terms

c =1.50n +2.50

Which is the best buy?
olga55 [171]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

When you divide each of the prices by the amount of candy bars, B is the lowest. The price for 1 candy bar with A's price is 1.75. The price for 1 candy bar for B's is 1.71. The price for 1 candy bar with C's is 1.73 and the price of 1 candy bar for D's is 1.74. Again, B has the lowest price for 1 candy bar so the correct answer is B.

Answer:

(1.13, 7.74) and (-4.13, 18.26)

Step-by-step explanation:

This can be solved in two ways: mathematically and graphically.

Graphing

Plot both lines and find where they intersect. See the attachment.

The intersection points are (1.13, 7.74) and (-4.13, 18.26)

Mathematical

y + 2x = 10

y = 10 - 2x

y = 3x² + 7x - 4

10 - 2x = 3x² + 7x - 4

3x² + 9x - 14 = 0

Solve this using the quadratic equation:

x = 1.13 and -4.13

Use these two values of x to find y:

y = 10 - 2x

y = 10 - 2(1.13)

y = 7.74

y = 10 -2x

y = 10 -2(-4.13)

y =  18.26

The two points are:

(1.13, 7.74) and (-4.13, 18.26)

A horseback riding trail is 1 mi 40.8 ft long. How long is the trail in yards, feet, and inches?
ch4aika [34]

Answer:  1773.6 yards   5320.8 feet  64324.8 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

1 mile in yards = 1760                                                                                         40.8 feet in yards = 13.6      1760 + 13.6 = 1773.6 yards

1 mile in feet = 5280 + 40.8 =  5320.8 feet

1 mile in inches  = 63360

40.8 feet in inches = 964.8

63360 + 964.8 = 64324.8 inches

hope this helps :)
