The towboat moves the ship by a distance
d=3.00 km=3000 m
so the work done by the towboat to move the ship is the product between the force applied and this distance:
W=Fd=(6.0 \cdot 10^3 N)(3000 m)=1.8 \cdot 10^7 J

The time taken for this process is
t=15 min \cdot 60 s/min = 900 s
So the power used by the twoboat is the ratio between the work done and the time taken
P= \frac{W}{t}= \frac{1.8 \cdot 10^7 J}{900 s}=2.0 \cdot 10^4 W

lana [24]

Answer:

0.500 T

Explanation:

Since the change in time and the number of coils are both 1, I set the problem up to be 1.3=(1.5(x)-13(x)). I then plugged in numbers for x until I got the answer to be 1.3 V.

1. Calcula la fuerza de atracción electrostática entre dos cuerpos de cargas q1 = -18 C y q2 = +5 mC, separados entre sí por una
romanna [79]

Answer:

A) F=-20.16×10⁹N

B) if the distance doubles, force is 4 times smaller.

Explanation:

q1=-28C

q2=5mC=0.005C

d=25cm=0.25m

Electrostatic force between charges: F=k×q1×q2/d², where k is a coefficient that has the value k=9 × 10⁹ N⋅m²⋅C^(-2) for air.

Thus:

F=9×10⁹×(-28)×0.005/0.25²

F=-20.16×10⁹N

The minus sign indicates attraction.

If distance doubles, d1=2×d, then we have 4d² at the denominator and the force is 4 times smaller.
