When driving on a multilane street with two way traffic:?
koban [17]
When driving on multilane street with two way traffic, the best response to this scenario is to drive ahead but if there are vehicles in front of you, it is also best to drive along behind the multilane vehicles. It is not best to over take or to consume the middle lane because it is a multilane street. In which there are only two lanes and over taking it could cause accidents when not careful, and consuming up the middle is not appropriate to take because the lane is for two lanes.

How much work is required to move
slega [8]
So we want to know how much work is needed to move a charge Q=3C for a distance r=0.01m trough a potencial difference U=9V. Work of electric potential is defined as W=Q*U and we can now simply put in the numbers. We get: W=3C*9V=27J. So the correct answer is (2) 27J.

Which statement explains the polarity of a water molecule?
timofeeve [1]

Answer:

D. The oxygen side is partially negative because electrons are pulled toward the oxygen side.

Explanation:

The water molecule is polar by the virtue of covalent bonds and the hydrogen bonds within and between its molecule.

The oxygen side is partially negative because the electrons are pulled toward the oxygen side.

Between oxygen and hydrogen that makes up the water molecule, oxygen is more electronegative.

An electronegative atom has more affinity for electrons. Since the electrons in the molecule of water is shared between hydrogen and oxygen, the more electronegative specie which is water draws the electron more to itself.

This leaves a net negative charge on the oxygen atom.
