Ira Lisetskai [31]

To calculate for the pressure of the system, we need an equation that would relate the number of moles (n), pressure (P), and temperature (T) with volume (V). There are a number of equations that would relate these values however most are very complex equations. For simplification, we assume the gas is an ideal gas. So, we use PV = nRT.

PV = nRT where R is the universal gas constant
P = nRT / V

P = 3.40 mol ( 0.08205 L-atm / mol-K ) (251 + 273.15 K) / 1.75 L

P = 83.56 atm

Therefore, the pressure of the gas at the given conditions of volume and temperature would be 83.56.

Write a collision scenario here. If you choose your own collision, you can have neither, one, or both of the objects break. Be s
OleMash [197]

Answer:

My scenario would be A Car vs. a guard rail on a road. You have a car that is coming down a Highway at a speed of 43 Mph Miles per hour (69.2018 Kmh)

And it hits a steel guardrail and the car smashes in at the front and the guardrail is only bent while the car has the bumper and the hood along with the headlights and windshield along with the passenger side window break.

Explanation:

This is caused by so much force reacting from one object to another but also depends on molecular density.

Technician A says that gears may be used to apply torque to other rotating parts. Technician B says that gears may be used to mu
Goryan [66]

Answer:

Both technicians are right.

Explanation:

Torque is defined as a rotational force that can be calculated by the formula T= F.d. Being F the force applied to a body to make it rotate and d the distance since the force is applied.

T= F . d

So technician A is saying that gear can apply a torque to another gear, and that is true because it’s applying a rotational force to the gear next to it, in simple terms -anytime I make something rotate, I'm generating a torque-. And for technician B, the torque also can vary as a function of the distance of the force applied (size of the gear), so, it can multiply the torque and change the rotation speed.

Why are units of measurement useful?
Zanzabum

Without the ability to measure, it would be difficult for scientists to conduct experiments or form theories. Not only is measurement important in science and the chemical industry, it is also essential in farming, engineering, construction, manufacturing, commerce, and numerous other occupations and activities.
