Answer:  The answer is YES.

Explanation:  Isotopic substitution is the kind of substitution in which the present active species is replaced by its isotope in order to check the reactivity of the given species.

Radioactive substitution is also the same kind of substitution in which the active species is replaced by its radioactive isotope.

Thus, in cesium chloride when radioactive cesium is reacted with the chlorine, then the product formed cesium chloride is expected to be radioactive because radioactivity or isotopic substitution has nothing to do with the bonding. Only outermost electrons of the cesium has been transferred from cesium to chlorine , and its nucleus has not been affected in the same process.

Yes due to the radioactivity having nothing to do with the chemical equation given it will release radiation at a rate determined by it's half life.

I would say Na. Oxygen has 2 valence electrons and when reacting with other molecules, the ones with the fullest or emptiest shells will react the least. Both H2 and Na are in the Alkali Metals in the first row, but since H2 has 2 molecules, it would use more oxygen than Ana

The dipole moment of the water molecule (H2O) is 6.17x10^-30 C.m. Consider a water molecule located at the origin whose dipole m
valkas [14]

Answer:

There are other details missing in the question. i.e Assume that x is much larger than the separation d between the charges in the dipole, so that the approximate expression for the electric field along the dipole axis E = p/2πε0y3 can be used, where p is the dipole moment, and y is the distance between ions. A) What is magnitude______N B) Direction? +x-direction or -x-direction C) Is this force attractive or repulsive?

A) Magnitude of electric force = 6.576 x 10 raised to power -13 N

B) Since the force direction is always dependent on the electric field and electric field = F/q, since the chlorine has a negative charge as such the direction of the electric force will be in the X - direction

C) Since the charges are of different nature, as such the force between them will be ATTRACTIVE.

The temperature of a gas is 30 degrees Celsius and its pressure is 760 torr. If the temperature originally
erastova [34]
T₁ = 40°C + 273.15 = 313.15 Kelvin T₂ = 30°C + 273.15 = 303.15 Kelvin

Solving Gay-Lussac's Law for P₁ we get:
P₁ = P₂ • T₁ ÷ T₂ P₁ = 760 torr • 313.15 K ÷ 303.15 K P₁ = 785.07 torr

Using the calculator, we click on the P1 button.
We then enter the 3 numbers 760 313.15 and 303.15 into the correct boxes then click "CALCULATE" and get our answer of 785.07 torr.
