Answer : The mass of a sample of water is, 888.89 grams

Explanation :

Latent heat of vaporization : It is defined as the amount of heat energy released or absorbed when the liquid converted to vapor at atmospheric pressure at its boiling point.

Formula used :

q=L\times m

where,

q = heat = 2000 kJ = 2\times 10^6J       (1 kJ = 1000 J)

L = latent heat of vaporization of water = 2.25\times 10^6J/kg

m = mass of sample of water = ?

Now put all the given values in the above formula, we get:

2\times 10^6J=(2.25\times 10^6J/kg)\times m

m=0.88889kg=888.89g       (1 kg = 1000 g)

Therefore, the mass of a sample of water is, 888.89 grams

Cloud [144]

Answer:

149,916J

Explanation:

Pneumonic device: Kevin is half-mad and very square

this translates to: KE=(1/2)mv^2 !!

KE=(1/2)(78)(62^2)

KE=(39)(3844)

The superheroine Xanaxa, who has a mass of 65.1 kg , is pursuing the 78.7 kg archvillain Lexlax. She leaps from the ground to th
klasskru [66]

Answer:

There is net loss of gravitational energy .

Explanation:

When Xanaxa is on the ground , her potential energy is assumed to be zero . When she leaps to a height of 153 m , she gains gravitational energy . When she dives and reaches the surface , she loses potential energy and on reaching the ground her potential energy becomes zero . When she further goes down inside ground to a depth of 17.5 m , she loses potential energy further . Her potential energy becomes less than zero or negative .

Ultimately her potential energy changes from zero to negative in the whole process . So there is net loss of potential energy .

A golfer takes three putts to get the ball into the hole. The first putt displaces the ball 3.32 m north, the second 1.57 m sout
bixtya [17]

Answer:

The answer to the question is

The magnitude of the displacement needed to get the ball into the hole in just one putt is 1.746m in the direction of 23.41° north east

Explanation:

With trigonometric relation and the attached diagram we have

From the diagram the location of the hole is 3.32m- (1.57 cos45 +0.78co45)m North and

1.57sin 45 – 0.78 sin 45 meters west

1.658m north and

0.55m east

Thus the direction of the hole is 26.41 degrees

North east

The magbitude of the displacement is  displacement is gotten from the relation diplacement of x and y =√(x²+y²)

\sqrt{1.658^{2} +0.55^{2}  } = 1.746 m∠26.41°
