Ok so I will take this from the top, lets start out  with choice A (-1,-12) we will need to see if the answer is equal to A. so first lets just merge these two problems into eachother to get 4x-8=2x-10 now, after subtracting 2x from each side we get 2x-8=-10. Now, add 8 to both sides which will give us 2x=-2... now it is simple, just divide -2 by 2 to get an answer for x as -1...Answer A is the correct answer

\begin{cases}y=2x-10\\y=4x-8\end{cases}\\\\\\
4x-8=2x-10\\\\4x-2x=-10+8\\\\2x=-2\qquad|:2\\\\\boxed{x=-1}\\\\\\y=2x-10\\\\y=2\cdot(-1)-10\\\\y=-2-10\\\\\boxed{y=-12}\\\\\\\begin{cases}x=-1\\y=-12\end{cases}\\\\\\

There are three points on a line, A, B, and C, so that AB = 12 cm, BC = 13.5 cm. Find the length of the segment AC . Give all po
Semmy [17]

Answer:

AC = 25.5 or 1.5

Step-by-step explanation:

If they are on a line and they are in the order ABC

AB + BC = AC

12+13.5 = AC

25.5 = AC

If they are on a line and they are in the order CAB

CA + AB = BC

AC + 12 =13.5

AC = 13.5 -12

AC = 1.5

If they are on a line and they are in the order ACB

That would mean that AB is greater than BC and that is not the case

The following three functions look very similar, but define very different functions. Think about how they are defined and write
tatiyna

Answer:

Kindly check explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the following functions :

sin^4 (x) = f(g(x)) where f(x) = and g(x) =

Sin⁴(x) = sin(x)⁴

g(x) = sin(x),

f(x) = f(g(x)) = f(sin(x)⁴) = x⁴

2.) sin(sin(x)) = f(g(x)) where f(x) = , and g(x) =

g(x) = sin(x) ; sinx = x

g(x) = sin(x)

f(x) = f(g(x)) = sin(x) ; sin(x) = x

f(x) = f(g(x)) = f(sin(x))

f(x) = sin(x)

3. sin x^4 = f(g(x)) where f (x) = , and g(x) = .

Here,

g(x) = x⁴

f(x) = f(g(x)) = sin(g(x)) = sin x

f(x) = sinx
