Harnessing the sun's energy to produce heat or electricity is : A. Non - Polluting

This energy generating method will cause no dangerous emission for environment (unlike the one that came from fossil fuel), but the energy that produced from the sun tend to be more expensive so it's still not widely used

hope this helps

PLEASE HELP FAST Five-gram samples of brick and glass are at room temperature. Both samples receive equal amounts of energy due
suter [353]

Answer:

1.The temperature of each sample will increase by the same amount

Explanation:

This is because, since their specific heat capacities are the same and we have the same mass of each substance, and the same amount of energy due to heat flow is supplied to both the glass and brick at room temperature, their temperatures would thereby increase by the same amount.

This is shown by the calculation below

Q = mcΔT

ΔT = Q/mc where ΔT = temperature change, Q = amount of heat, m = mass of substance and c = specific heat capacity of substance.

Since Q, m and c are the same for both substances, thus ΔT will be the same.

So, the temperature of each sample will increase by the same amount

A man pulls a sled at a constant velocity across a horizontal snow surface. if a force of 80 n is being applied to the sled rope
balandron [24]
A constant velocity implies the two forces must be equal and opposite.
Friction acts horizontal to the ground, therefore we must find the force applied to the sled rope that acts horizontal to the ground.
Do this by resolving:
Force = 80cos53
The force opposing this is equal, and so also = 80cos53 = 48 N (2 sig. fig.)
