Biomass and wood fuels generate combustion waste product of ash and GREEN HOUSE GASES.
Greenhouse gases refers to those gases that absorb infra red radiations, thus bring about the phenomenon of greenhouse effect. Greenhouse gases are released when biomass and wood fuels are burn and they lead to the warming up of the earth surface. Examples of greenhouse gases are chlorofluorocarbon and carbon dioxide.

2. A ball tied to a pole by a rope swings in a circular path with a centripetal acceleration of 2.7 m/s. If the ball has a
Helga [31]

Answer: The diameter of the circular path is 2.96m

Explanation: centripetal acceleration = tangential speed^2 / radius of the circular path.

Centripetal acceleration = 2.7m/s^2

Tangential speed = 2.0m/s

Radius = 2.0^2 / 2.7 = 4/2.7

= 1.48m

Diameter = radius*2

= 1.48*2 = 2.96m.

A long solenoid that has 1,130 turns uniformly distributed over a length of 0.430 m produces a magnetic field of magnitude 1.00
sweet-ann [11.9K]

Given Information:

Number of turns = N = 1130 turns

Length of solenoid = L = 0.430 m

Magnetic field = B =  1.0x10⁻⁴ T

Required Information:

Current = I = ?

Answer:

I = 0.0302 A

Explanation:

The current flowing in the solenoid winding can be found using

I = BL/μ₀N

Where μ₀ is the permeability of free space, N is the number of turns, B is the magnetic field and L is the length of solenoid

I = 1.0x10⁻⁴*0.430/4πx10⁻⁷ *1130

I = 0.0302 A

or

I = 30.28 mA
