First find the missing angles. right now you have 30, 60, and 45. that dotted line between 45 and 60 is connected to another line dividing the 360 in half (making it only 180) if its in two parts and part 1 is 60 that makes part 120. you need angle PF though, so add your 120 on to the 30 giving you 150. to check your answer you add up all sides and if it makes 360 then it's right. my answer for angle PF would be 150.

Will a beam of light that is, at first, in air and oriented perpendicular to the surface of a body of water be deflected as a re
EastWind [94]

When a beam of light  that is, at first, in air and oriented perpendicular to the surface of a body of water be deflected as a result of transition into water--------It does not deflect , the light direction will not change.

What happens to light when it passes through air?

All materials have what is known as an index of refraction, which is linked to how fast light can travel through the material. As light passes through air and into another clear material (such as glass), it changes speed, and light is both reflected and refracted by the glass.

How does light travel through air and water?

When light travels from air into water, it slows down, causing it to change direction slightly. This change of direction is called refraction. When light enters a more dense substance (higher refractive index), it 'bends' more towards the normal line.

How does volcanic ash in earth's atmosphere affect solar radiation?
Irina-Kira [14]

The answer is it increases the amount of solar radiation that is redirected into space. Most of the particles emitted from volcanoes cool the earth by covering entering solar radiation. The cooling result can last for months to years contingent on the features of the eruption.

A 0.90-kg falcon is diving at 28.0 m/s at a downward angle of 35° . It catches a 0.325-kg pigeon from behind in midair. What is
pashok25 [27]

Answer:

22.11 m / s

Explanation:

The falcon catches the prey from behind means both are flying in the same direction ( suppose towards the left )

initial velocity of falcon = 28 cos 35 i - 28 sin 35 j

( falcon was flying in south east direction making 35 degree from the east )

momentum = .9 ( 28 cos 35 i - 28 sin 35 j  )

= 20.64 i - 14.45 j

initial velocity of pigeon

= 7 i

initial momentum = .325 x 7i

= 2.275 i

If final velocity of composite mass of falcon and pigeon be V

Applying law of conservation of momentum

( .9 + .325) V = 20.64 i - 14.45 j +2.275 i

V = ( 22.915 i - 14.45 j ) / 1.225

= 18.70 i - 11.8 j

magnitude of V

= √ [  (18.7 )² + ( 11.8 )²]

= 22.11 m / s
