The formula of citric acid is:

           CO2H
           |
HO -  C - CH2CO2H

|
          C - CH2 CO2H

I bolded the 4 hydrogens that can be subsituted by sodium.

Three of those hydrogens belong to carboxyl group (- CO2H) and one to a hydroxyl group (- OH).

You need to take into account that 4 H will form 2 H2 molecules.

So, the answer is that 2 moles of molecules will be formed from 1 mole of citric acid molecules.

Rainbow [258]

In HCl-HCl, the hydrogen-chlorine link is a polar covalent bond. It is produced when two atoms share an electron pair.

When atoms with various electronegativities share electrons in a covalent link, the result is a polar covalent bond. Think about the molecule of hydrogen chloride (HCl). In order to generate an inert gas electron configuration, each atom of HCl needs an additional electron. Despite having a stronger electronegativity than hydrogen, the chlorine atom cannot remove an electron from hydrogen due to its inability to attract electrons. As a result, a polar covalent bond in hydrogen chloride has an unbalanced distribution of bonding electrons.

A container initially holds 5.67 x 10^-2 mol of propane and has a volume of V1. The volume of the container was increased by add
Brut [27]

Answer:

Initial volume of the container (V1) = 1.27 L (Approx)

Explanation:

Given:

Number of mol (n1) = 5.67 x 10⁻²

Number of mol (n2) = (5.67 +2.95) x 10⁻² = 8.62 x 10⁻²

New volume (V2) = 1.93 L

Find:

Initial volume of the container (V1)

Computation:

Using Avogadro's law

V1 / n1 = V2 / n2

V1 / 5.67 x 10⁻² = 1.93 / 8.62 x 10⁻²

V1 = 10.9431 / 8.62

Initial volume of the container (V1) = 1.2695

Initial volume of the container (V1) = 1.27 L (Approx)
