as the bright sun shines upon the water the water slowly disappears the same sunlight gives energy to the surrounding plants to
8090 [49]
Well when the sun makes water dissaper thats usually evaporation.

The chemical changes is when the plants absorb the energy from the sunlight and convert water and carbon dioxide into sugar and oxygen gas. Physically nothing has changed. The plant still looks the sam changes occur internally these internal changes are chemical in nature.

What happens when HCl gas is passed through a saturated PbCl2 solution?
VikaD [51]
When HCl is added to a saturated solution of PbCl2, the solubility of PbCl2 would decrease so precipitation would occur. The decrease in the solubility is due to the common ion effect or the presence of Cl- ions in both compounds.

Argon has a pressure of 34.6 atm. It is transferred to a new tank with a volume of 456 L and pressure of 2.94 atm. What was the
NemiM [27]

Answer:

38.75 L

Explanation:

From the question,

Applying Boyles Law,

PV = P'V'....................... Equation 1

Where P = Original pressure of the Argon gas, V = Original Volume of Argon gas, P' = Final pressure of Argon gas, V' =  Final Volume of Argon gas.

make V the subject of the equation

V = P'V'/P.................... Equation 2

Given: P = 34.6 atm, V' = 456 L, P' = 2.94 atm.

Substitute these values into equation 2

V = (456×2.94)/34.6

V = 38.75 L

Determine the relative formula mass of glucose (C6H12O6) using the periodic table below.
Gelneren [198K]

Answer:

D. 180.1 g/mol

Explanation:

Add up each of the masses of the elements in glucose and multiply them by the subscript number.

Carbon: 12.01 * 6 = 72.06

Hydrogen: 1.008 * 12 = 12.096

Oxygen: 16.00 * 6 = 96

72.06 + 12.096 + 96 = 180.156 g/mol ≈ 180.1 g/mol

*Molecular masses vary depending on which measurement / periodic table you use, so expect to be within a range, not exactly the same. My answer was closer to 180.2 g/mol, but it's still acceptable.
